Article: Google officially migrated structured data testing tool
What's Important:
It's official. Google has migrated the structured data testing tool to its new home. You can now find the rich results test here and the schema markup validator over here.
Nick's Take:
This should only be an issue for those who aren't able to locate where the tools are now. Bookmark the two links above and your day to day work shouldn't be impacted.
Article: 15 tips for getting the most out of Google Trends
What's Important:
Google Trends turns 15! To celebrate Google created this blog post on how to get the most out of the tool that we all love.
Nick's Take:
I like Google trends to understand market demand. I find that it can help validate seasonality as well as significant changes for branded search if the brand is large enough. Trends is definitely an underrated tool by many SEOs.
Article: First steps to getting a great Page Experience
What's Important:
Patrick Kettner, Developer Advocate for Google talks to us about Page Experience. Page Experience is explained as two core sections. 1. Core Web Vitals and 2. Everything unrelated to Core Web Vitals. The focus in this video is everything, not CWV.
Nick's Take:
Core Web Vitals is the youngest child. It's always the loudest and undoubtedly receives the most attention. However, the older children (HTTPS, Safe Browsing, and Intrusive interstitials) deserve some love too.

So what happens when 100K URLs change in a short amount of time. Sounds like a recipe for disaster but the team did a killer job and saw an increase in traffic for their efforts.

Speaking of migrations (referencing the Moz post above), do you have everything covered? Maybe you have a question or an edge case? My buddy Patrick Stox published this great post on all things migrations. If migrations make you lose sleep, this post is for you.

I have a love/hate relationship with Shopify sites. Fortunately, I've been leaning a lot more towards the love side as making necessary SEO changes is becoming easier each day. WIth that said, Schema Markup has always caused trouble. I was very excited to read this post and tips provided by Chris.
Does Moving Your Business Impact Rankings?
Written by Joy Hawkins, SterlingSky
I'm no expert in local SEO but changing your name/address/phone number was number 1-3 in the worst things you can do for your rankings. What would you say if someone told you moving your location could actually increase your rankings? I was doubtful too but after reading both of these case studies it's something to reconsider!
